Say what! The new Tesla roadster will be able to go 0 to 60 in 1.9 seconds. First thing I want to know is how long is that battery going to last? Is that just a ride to the grocery store and back. Needless to say that sounds like a lot of fun. So it Seems that Mr. Elon musk didn’t end the day with just that. He also decided to bring us some brand new fancy 18 wheelers. That look something straight out of blade runner. What a wild world we are living in.
I have done this a couple of times in the past. With all the passwords that we have to remember it’s sometimes hard to keep up with all of them. We can try remembering to put it in our password manager, but even the best of us sometimes forget to do that. Here is a link that I found that might be quite helpful for those like myself.
So you may be wondering what in the world is the pi-top? A pi-top is a small laptop that has a raspberry pi as the mainboard. The small little bored is the whole brain of the machine. The pi-top is a housing unit to keep the raspberry pi. It adds the functionality of a keyboard and a monitor like a laptop. The new model supplies a battery as well. Meaning that you can use it like a real laptop. One of the coolest features of the pi-top is the ability to access the pi board itself so you can access the IO. So you can get really inventive. The last version was a little lackluster. It was still very awesome idea. I look forward to seeing some reviews on it. I might have to get one for myself.
The number 2 phone manufacturer released their new version of their mates series phone. The device is now introducing a brand new processor to the market. Which is the Kirin AI 970 processor which comes with 8 cores and a NPU(Neural Processing Unit). This is supposed to compete with the QUALCOMM snapdragon 835 and the Apple A11 Bionic chip. The phone is packed with a number of other goodies including a 4000mAh which can get up to 48 hours “supposedly“.
So one of the biggest news articles I’ve read today. That there is a large security flaw with WPA2 security on Wi-Fi that’s allowing people that have their devices hijacked or help eavesdropping. The bug is known as “KRACK”. So what to do about all our Wi-Fi devices? I will keep you up-to-date as I find out more.
-update: seems the Apple and Microsoft every claim they’ve already fix the issue.
